In celebration of #InternationalWomensDay, we’d like to write a post about Keneshia Raymond, she is an up and coming indie designer inspired by a bridal collection that celebrates curvy bodies while providing the elegance of bridal (how truly sexy, eh?!) She claims the spot at our #InternationalWomensDay post as her determination and passion to make a bride feel special, elegant and sexy while celebrating all that they are is such a wonderful message. We love how she puts it – celebrating – she is not just creating a plus-size bridal line, but she is celebrating the uniqueness of each individual. We are all *down for that*, Keneshia!
Keneshia has over ten years of experience in the bridal industry and she notices that curvy brides were finding it difficult to find their dream dress. She explains to us in a recent phone interview that “67% of American women are curvy and still, curvy brides have the hardest time finding a wedding dress and this is heartbreaking”. And we couldn’t agree more, it is truly heartbreaking… I mean come on, it is 2018 after all, how hard is it to create a bridal gown that celebrates a women’s curves?!
