Sampaguita-Rose is a floral combination that represents both the Philippine National Flower, “Sampaguita” and Georgia’s state flower, the “Cherokee Rose”. Roanne Nonesa collaborated with Silviyana to design this gown. Roanne Nonesa is a First Generation Filipina American. Her parents migrated to Georgia. This gown tells a story of both her home in the US and background.
The 2021 “Home” Collection looks at inspiring eco brides to care more about the one planet that we all call ‘home’. The earth is beautiful and needs our attention. The 4 piece collection takes inspiration from the elements of water, air, fire and earth. The Sampaguita-Rose symbolizes the water element.
