Teresita is a design that brings indigenous Philippine textile to the forefront of eco, modern and chic weddings. This bolero cape design  is a collaboration between Pilipinx Ako and Silviyana. Our main vision for this design is to inspire you to incorporate some form of heritage to your wedding, without compromising on the modern-day chic style.
Using abaca and recycled silk eco fabric and a Philippine weave by a cooperative in the Ifugao province in this collection. This piece weaves a story – one that tells a tale of courage, veneration or for some sort of spiritual protection from the Ifugao gods and ancestors. The red and black colors represent the sun and the moon god respectively. These colors and designs are typically used in Ifugao weddings and we worked closely with Ifugao culture scholars to ensure that our designs are being respectful to the Ifugao people and their weaves.

Comments on fit
The cape is quite loose on the sleeves area to make it easier to get in and out of the cape.
