Vegan Rose Cardamom Latte

The rose cardamom latte recipe below is inspired by the art of self-care that takes place before ceremony. For our brides-to-be, we want to offer this cup of love as a reminder to take care of the heart as you transition into this union with your beloved. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of the intimate relationship shared between love & food is the fragrance of a fully- bloomed rose. 

The rose plant herself dates back over 35 million years. Her sweet essence and beauty influences poetry, art, botanical medicine, and of course- ceremony. May this cup of love be a reminder that marriage is not two halves uniting as one but two wholes celebrating one another’s beauty. 

Vegan Rose Cardamom Latte Recipe
Ingredients:
½ cup of raw almonds
3 cups of filtered water
2 tbsp of rose water
½ tsp cardamom seeds
3 medjool dates as a natural sweetener

The Process:
Place almonds in a bowl and soak in water overnight
Remove seeds from medjool dates
Strain water from almonds and place almonds, filtered water, rose water, cardamom seeds, and seeded medjool dates into a high speed blender.
Blend for 1 minute.
Strain mixture through a cheese cloth to filter out almonds, cardamom seeds, & dates.
Enjoy hot as part of your evening rituals or iced as a mid-day soothing beverage.
